Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky is delighted to announce its sponsorship of British sailing hero Sir Robin Knox-Johnston as he prepares to complete the ‘ultimate solo challenge’ - the VELUX 5 Oceans round the world yacht race.
Known as the Genuine Maritime Malt, Old Pulteney has come on board to support Sir Robin as he sets sail from Norfolk (USA) this Sunday competing against four other competitors with the aim of a podium place in Bilbao, Spain.

Balblair 33 year old, owned by Inver House Distillers has scooped the prestigious Whisky Magazine’s gold award for excellence, for the best mainland malt whisky. The category included all mainland malts from the Lowlands, Highlands and Campbeltown. Balblair was deemed to be by far the clearest winner of the event. The competition involved a selection of the best forty whiskies tasted by the magazine over the previous two years - it brought together the best distillers, retailers and journalists across three continents.
